The following Terms and Conditions of Use apply to the entire VersusLaw, Inc. web site, inclusive of but not limited to
public domain research documents, written and graphic or design materials, underlying HTML or other source files,
discussion groups, and email features. By using VersusLaws web site, you agree to comply with all the Terms and
Conditions herein.
This VersusLaw, Inc. web site [the Site] contains proprietary material of VersusLaw, Inc., as well as material
licensed from third parties by VersusLaw for distribution through this Site, which is protected by copyright and other
laws respecting proprietary rights. In addition to proprietary materials created or licensed by VersusLaw, Inc.,
the Site also contains public-domain documents which VersusLaw, Inc. has compiled as its content warehouse; though
VersusLaw, Inc. does not claim title to the decisions enunciated in any individual document, the compilation of those
documents is protected by copyright as a collective work and/or compilation, pursuant to U.S. copyright laws, international
conventions, and other copyright laws. To the extent provided by law, VersusLaw, Inc. retains all rights in this Site and
the materials herein, including (without limitation) all copyright and other proprietary rights worldwide in all media.
You may not publish, broadcast, sell, or otherwise redistribute these materials for commercial purposes.
Use of any robot, spider, or other automatic device, or manual process to monitor or copy any pages or material on the
Site is strictly forbidden.
U.S. export control laws regulate the export and re-export of technology originating in the United States. This includes
the electronic transmission of information and software to foreign countries and to certain foreign nationals. You agree
to abide by these laws and their regulations -- including but not limited to the Export and Administration Act and the
Arms Export Control Act and not to transfer, by electronic transmission or otherwise, any content derived from the
Site to either a foreign national or a foreign destination in violation of such laws.
The Site contains links to other web sites for which VersusLaw does not maintain control. Any concerns regarding any such
service or resource, or any link thereto, should be directed to the particular service or resource.
Though there is no charge, fee or payment to access VersusLaws web site or its content warehouse per se, there is a
fee to access VersusLaws search engine to locate and retrieve documents within the content warehouse of VersusLaw.
There is also no charge to download, copy, or print any document located and/or retrieved by VersusLaws search
engine, i.e., there are no charges to use the documents within the content warehouse of the Site, but rather to use the
search engine by which the documents are sorted, located, and retrieved by the user.
Prices to retrieve materials from this Site are subject to change without notice. No price is guaranteed beyond the
period for which the user has paid and no contract is implied, nor may one be inferred, to guarantee a price based on
the users previous subscription(s).
VersusLaw, Inc. may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time, including the availability of
any feature, database, or content. VersusLaw, Inc. may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict
access to parts or all of the Site without notice or liability.
This Site and these Terms and Conditions may be changed by VersusLaw, Inc. with or without notice. Continued use of this
Site following any change constitutes your acceptance of the change.
Monthly billing for all subscription plans produces an automatic credit card
charge each month on approximately the same day. Monthly billing accounts renew
automatically every 12 months; cancellation may occur at any time. There is no
subscription for one month only unless the subscription is cancelled within the first 25 days.
Annual subscriptions are not discounted; but are available for all VersusLaw products. They are automatically renewed and
produce an automatic credit card charge each year on approximately the same date (aniversary date),
however, advance notification is sent via email prior to expiration. You may cancel out of auto-renew anytime; but refunds
only apply to the first 25 days after billing.
If the credit card we have on file for you ius declined for payment your subscription is automatically cancelled
on the expected expiration date. Charges are non-refundable irrespective of non-use. Moreover, upon termination,
cancellation, or suspension there is no entitlement to the refunds of any monies.
Fraud, Misrepresentation, and Misuse
The rights granted by VersusLaw to access the search engine on the Site and download, copy or print the documents found
and retrieved by the search engine, is predicated upon a users agreement to: a) acknowledge and accept this User
Agreement; b) pay for the access granted; and c) not share the access granted with any other person or entity.
In the event that a user fails to pay for the access granted, or shares the access granted with any person or entity, or
misuses the system by any means actionable under a federal, state, or local statute, code, regulation, law, or civil action,
VersusLaw will consider the users access as having been acquired by fraud or misrepresentation and will terminate the
users access. In such a case, VersusLaw retains the right to seek civil or criminal redress, the entire cost of which
shall be borne solely by the user.
VersusLaw further reserves the right to refuse service to any person, organization, or entity that has demonstrated an
abuse of our system, policies, and/or guidelines as to payment, use of content, or communications with VersusLaw staff.
Warranty Disclaimers
VersusLaw, Inc. attempts to include accurate information on this Site, but because of the
possibility of human and mechanical error as well as other factors, VersusLaw, Inc. is not responsible for any errors.
All material available from this Site is provided AS IS. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law,
VersusLaw, Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Specifically, but without limitation, VersusLaw, Inc.
DOES NOT WARRANT THE TIMELINESS, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, PERFORMANCE, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF THE SITE OR
THE INFORMATION IT CONTAINS. VERSUSLAW, INC., DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE IS ERROR-FREE IN CONTENT OR IN FUNCTIONALITY.
VersusLaw, Inc. disclaims all responsibility for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting from,
arising out of, or in any way related to, any errors in or omission from this Site, including but not limited to technical
inaccuracies and typographical errors; the unavailability of this Site or any portion thereof; your use of this Site;
or your use of any equipment or software in connection with this Site.
Limitation of Liability
VERSUSLAW, INC., SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO A CUSTOMER OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM THE USE
OF, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, FOR RELIANCE ON THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE SITE, OR VERSUSLAW, INC.S,
SUPPORT SERVICES, OR FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED
OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY
FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington,
U.S.A., as they apply to agreements made and performed therein.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions incorporate by reference any notices contained on this Site and constitute the entire
agreement with respect to your access to and use of this Site. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is unlawful,
void, or unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from the remaining provisions and shall not affect
the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. VersusLaw, Inc. may, in its sole discretion and without notice,
revise these terms at any time by updating this posting. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions in full,
you must immediately terminate your use of this Site.
